Description

P/T Office Administrator for Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Huntington and primary point of contact for inquiries from visitors and members. Administrative and general support functions (phones, report and document preparation, record-keeping, scheduling meetings and rentals, events logistics); support for minister, Board, and lay leadership; coordination of office volunteers, grounds and building maintenance and security; assistance with preparation for Sunday worship and other services. Coordinates congregational communications); liaison with Finance committee, bookkeeper and outside vendors (e.g. IT, insurance, publicity). Salary range starts at $20K for 20 hours per week, higher for candidates with strong social media skills; additional hours may be available for supervision of rental events. Required: excellent administrative, organizational, communications, financial, collaboration, and interpersonal skills; adaptability and resourcefulness; high integrity; professional values congruent with UU principles. Facility with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and database applications a must, along with basic A/V equipment proficiency. Minimum 3 years of general office experience, preferably in a congregational or non-profit environment. Full COVID-19 vaccination required.
