Rehoming German Shorthaired Pointer

We are in need of rehoming our year old GSP, his name is Maverick. He is purebred with no papers and is from a German bloodline. Hes intelligent, energetic and has a drive like no other. Requires a lot of time and dedication. We have 3 kids and another small laid back dog. We are extremely busy and he has been becoming a burden on our family which makes us feel really guilty. He is up to date on all shots and is not neutered. He knows all basic commands very well. I have done a lot of training with him, including some pigeon/bird training. I have never shot a gun over him, but have used the DT systems dummy launcher with a 22 blank. He is bold and confident. I wouldn't think a shotgun would even phase him with the drive he has. All training was very positive and he is very food motivated. I have also done ecollar training with him since around 4 months of age. I suggest a home without cats or possibly other small animals.. he does have a prey drive. He has been around a cat but won't give up on leaving it alone. We are asking for a small adoption fee to assure he goes to a great home. We do have a lot of miscellaneous things for him including, kennel, dog bed, ecollars, dog life jacket, toys, bowls and many more for a reasonable price. If interested some things will be included with him but others will be sold separately. I can't emphasize enough how much time he needs. I'm hoping for a home that knows information about GSP's or has had them in the past to understand the breed. He really is a great dog and absolutely nothing is wrong with him, he's a young dog that requires a lot of attention that we can't give him at this time in our life.
