Hello. I am an experienced young professional currently moving to the Colorado Springs/ Pueblo area from my current residence in Alabama. Colorado was once my home, and I am very familiar with both cities. I'm looking for employment, and am hoping to find a family in need of a Nanny and general caretaker in their home. I am female and 28 years old. I've worked with children from infants up to middle school ages. I have ample experience in childcare and have worked previously as a nanny for a family in the area, and as a paid childcare provider for a large local church, both in Sunday school and for after hours events. Additionally, I worked for a non-profit as an Earth Science Educator for mostly elementary aged students in Beulah, CO. I have references for all of these positions that can be provided, as well as a detailed resume. The last several years, my work history has been mostly in Veterinary Medicine and hospitality. I am also an active service member in the Army Reserves as a paralegal. My Army service requires short training events once a month (typically 3-4 days of training over a weekend), and one 2 week long training a year (usually in the summer). Other than for my training dates, I don't anticipate needing much time off, and am eager to work. I have no criminal history and currently hold a Secret Security clearance for my job in the Army. This means I am regularly background-checked, as well as drug tested. I am more than willing to perform both of these tests to be a part of your household. I have a current CPR certificate and emergency medical training from the military. My timeline to move would be mid February, but this is flexible.
