Looking for a lead guitarist to help build a fun rock band. Here’s one of the songs we’d be looking to do: https://soundcloud.com/jesse_hodges/bloody-stars-wredone-vox-drums-mix-2 A little bit more about this project - so far it's Me on rhythm guitar + Vocals, my daughter on bass, and a drummer. Right now we're probably looking at working up a 10 song set, maybe 1/2 covers, 1/2 originals. We have a rehearsal space and would like to be rehearsing once a week on weekends once things get going, then getting out and doing some gigs, and potentially some recording as well. Nothing too serious, not looking to make it, but you do need a little time to dedicate to the project. I really like Melodic punk and anthemic rock. “Our songs are sing along songs”. I wanna write fun music that people can enjoy, sometimes i end up writing more folk-inspired pop too. depends on where the song wants to go. Some Influences include: The Strokes, The Clash, Matthew Sweet, The Thermals, The Hold Steady, The Raconteurs. Many more. If this interests you I can send you a few more demos to check out.
