Papas Saw Shop is now accepting applications for a chainsaw builder to add to our team. Who we are: Papas Saw Shop has been serving the northwest arborist, logging, landscaping and construction industries for 4 years. Papas Saw Shop is the home of the 3 year warranty as well as Old Goat Custom Chainsaws. Our Old Goat Custom Chainsaw division currently ships Custom Chainsaws to every state in the U.S. We are currently seeking a chainsaw builder with the following qualifications: 1. You must have mechanical experience and knowledge. Training is provided but you must have knowledge of how 2 and 4 cycle engines operate. 2. You must have pride in your work and the saws your working on. Our Saw repairs are sold with a 3 year warranty, we're very proud that we seldom have a request to honor that warranty, our repairs are built to last. We respect each piece of equipment and its owner so much that we don't allow Chainsaws to be kept on the floor. Ever. 3. You must be able to work alongside coworkers in close proximity. As a chainsaw builder you'll be working in our small Shop (until we find a bigger Shop) with our Custom chainsaw builder as well as our repair mechanic. 4. You must be customer oriented and willing to listen. In this position, you will be building Chainsaws every day. Every Saw and every customer has a story as to why the saw failed. You MUST be able to listen enough that you are not only able to build the saw but also understand why it failed in the first place. What we offer: Flexible hours and work week.
