Buckley is a 3yr, neutered Shar Pei mix. He’s our foster with maricopa county and is as sweet as can be. Loves to just curl up in your lap. Housebroken, crate trained, knows sit, lay down, beg, and stay. Is doing really well on heeling during short walks (a week ago he was terrified to go outside, so that’s saying a lot!). Super smart boy that figures stuff out really fast (food motivated too which makes him easy to train). Loves enrichment toys like puzzle feeders too. Not sure how he is with other dogs, but he tends to be timid and unsure in new situations so he may enjoy having a confident friend to teach him how to be. Would recommend a slow intro with lots of treats. We are not able to introduce prior to adoption due to maricopa’s current guidelines. Not sure how he is with kids or cats, but again, slow intros with positive reinforcement are key! Really a great dog, would consider foster failing but we’re super allergic to this guy for some reason.
