Description
I hate that it has come to this, but I think this is the best and most responsible thing for me to do for my household. I have an almost 2 year old (her birthday is in March of 2020) female Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Rosey that I am looking to find a better home for. We got her a couple of months ago from her original owners, who rehomed her to us because they didn’t want her to be home alone as much as she was. She is spunky and sweet, with almost endless energy. She knows basic commands but still needs a strong leader for training. She is spayed but will need to get her shots done to he UTD on them. Rosey is an interesting dog, to say the least. She’s VERY shy when you first meet her, but opens up with a lot of encouragement. She loves to herd and run and chase her ball. She is the definition of a ball dog. She is house trained, but if left alone she will go to the bathroom in the house. That brings me to her separation anxiety. She had gotten tremendously better, but it still needs work. She’s a howler and a barker if she is left alone, even if another dog is around. We always try to have someone home, which helps. When she connects with you, she will follow you wherever you go. The reason we are looking to find Rosey a better home is because she randomly causes dog fights between herself and my 7 year old dog. It literally comes out of the blue and it’s just getting worse. My original dog who I’ve had since she was 5 weeks old is as sweet as pie, but she’s getting older and I cannot have her getting more hurt. Rosey is good with her 80% of the time, but I think Rosey is territorial over people, as well as food. This is just something I cannot handle. I was hurt separating the dog fight today and I cannot afford to have that happen again. So in my opinion, it is Rosey’s best interest to be an only dog. She is good with our cat and rabbit, although it is in her nature to herd. She loves playing with the cat, though. I honestly think she needs to be on a farm where she can live freely and have a job to do. This girl has the energy to do it. I have her AKC papers from the original owner (that they got from the breeder) and can give them to you if you want them. I also have her shot records. She will come with her toys, bowl, collar/leash/harness, papers, treats, clickers (for training) and whatever else I can think of. Her and my dog share a bag of food but I can give you some so she can adjust easily. There is a rehoming fee to make sure she goes to a good home. Her rehoming fee is $500 firm. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. Thank you for taking the time to read all of this.
