Maintenance Technician About this job: We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team to ensure all aspects of the property perform at optimum levels to achieve the highest standard of operations. Must live within the city of Los Angeles. We are a growing company and are looking for staff interested and capable of taking on managerial roles as we grow. The Role. As our Maintenance Technician, we expect you to bring your building, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and creative problem solving when performing the tasks below. The selected candidate will be detail-oriented, friendly, and punctual. The Key Responsibilities. Position Overview– Technical Qualifications 2+ years of residential maintenance experience working in a position maintaining apartment buildings including plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC The candidate will diagnose problems in tenant’s units and the overall property They will repair and maintain apartments following operations manuals and inspection sheets Complete all resident and site work orders as directed Provide and maintain accurate record-keeping of all maintenance requests Daily physical inspections of the property Interpersonal skills Work independently and utilize technology to communicate with the team Help suggest improvements to our Property Management process Speak up when you have an idea You are the eyes and ears of the property service team, working closely with the management to deliver great experiences for our residents Successful candidates will be extremely comfortable interacting with our tenants on a regular basis and take pride in delivering excellent service Ability to represent yourself in a professional manner with tenants, prospective residents, and other employees Warm, friendly, and service-oriented philosophy Work with staff to assess priorities of property repairs and improvements. The Basics– Paid by the hour, three to five days per week Must be willing to work weekends There will be times when on-call status may be required Upon completion of the probationary period, this role could potential become a salaried position Must be able to communicate in English Must have a vehicle (mileage will be provided for on-the-job items. Properties all are in the city of Los Angeles).
