Jack-of-all-trades? General Contractor is currently seeking commercial handyman / facilities maintenance / service technician to join our team. You will be responsible for completing maintenance orders for national commercial retail chains within our Central and North Florida territories. Ideal candidate may be winding down their career or the intensity of their desired work environment as this position can be up to 75% driving & 25% performing any maintenance and/or repair work. Examples of work orders: light bulb replacements, fixture repair or replacement, drywall patching and repair, ceiling tile replacement, window and door hardware adjustments, laminate repairs, minor plumbing, touch-up painting, smoke detector battery replacement, minor electrical, HVAC filter replacement, etc. Position includes competitive hourly wage, mileage reimbursement for local service calls and the use of a company vehicle for non-local service calls. There will be occasional overnight travel, which includes company provided vehicle, lodging as well as per diem.
