I am casually looking for a companion dog to be with my GSD mix. Lost my husky in July 2021 to old age and my dog has been alone since. I’ve grown up with dogs of all kinds, worked as a groomer, volunteered and worked for animal control, and have also fostered. I am a very experienced, knowledgeable dog owner happy to provide vet reference. My dog is a spayed female GSD mix named Piper. She’s around 4 years old, was supposed to be my brother’s dog but he didn’t take care of her. She’s great with people and dogs, heart worm negative, and current on vaccines. Though she lives outside she goes on daily walks and gets plenty of socialization. She has two dog houses full of straw during winter and cedar shavings in summer. One house is custom built with carpet flooring and insulated. She eats Open Farm kibble topped with bone broth or goat milk. By no means is she neglected I just can’t convince my mother to let her come indoors. Please reach out if you need to rehome your dog and think they would do well outside. Also open to puppies as well. Can’t accept any pit bulls or pit mixes just because they do not have enough hair to live comfortably outside. Would love another husky or a working breed/mix if available. Call or text anytime
