Over its many successful years, MakeOutClub single-handedly legitimized and popularized "emo parties" across the country, if not the world. In recent years, Fame Lust has gone on to create new events based on the "Emo Night" genre that he helped to create and popularize: events like "My Chemical Slow Dance (Emo Prom)", "Scene Queen Halloween (HalloweEmo Party)", and his yearly "New Years Emo" celebration.
