Hi guys, I'm hoping someone could help me. I recently got a puppy for our family. I was told he was ready to leave on one date and when I received him it turns out he was only 6 weeks old. Not only that but he seems to have been abused. He is terrified of leaving his playpen, he is terrified when being held. He trembles. He is now 2 months old, he doesn't play. He sits frozen in fear when held. We give him so much love but he hasn't opened up much yet. However he seems to love my families dogs. Big breed and small. I'm looking to bring in a friend for him to help ease his fears and help him learn to be a puppy. I haven't even seen him run yet like puppies. He has everything here he could need. We have children who adore him, we adore him. We have bought him everything possible. Im thinking a friend may help. However has to be small breed considering he is roughly 2 or 3 lbs. Also I can't afford much due obviously with him and his expenses thus far. I am definitely keeping my fingers crossed that someone could help. I know it's a lengthy post but believe me I've shortened and left things out about his behavior as well but I'll openly discuss it with anyone willing to help. Thank you.
