Join us at the Layered Cake Artistry Studio for a for a fun and unique couples cookie decorating experience. Join us at the Layered Studio for a fun, hands-on cookie decorating class where two students can share one set of cookies. (Please note: for each couple two tickets must be purchased - one Primary ticket and one Couple ticket). In this class, Concetta will teach you how to decorate six sugar cookies with a fun ‘rock’ inspired theme. All materials and tools needed to create this cookie set will be provided by us. Simply show up with your partner ready to have fun, be creative, and eat cookies! In this class, we will cover: Sugar cookie recipe tips and baking tips for getting perfectly cut cookies every time The fundamentals of working with fondant, including how to color fondant, how to keep it pliable, how to prevent sticking, and our recommendations on store-bought vs. homemade How to marble fondant, using the three accent colors of your choice How to create a geode effect onto the cookies How to stamp cookies with a ‘rock’ inspired message How to use edible paint to create a marbled watercolor effect How to paint metallic accents onto the cookies and when to choose luster dust vs. pre-made edible paint Also included in this class: Charcuterie cones, desserts, and drinks to give us the energy we need to decorate our little hearts out! Six sugar cookies ready to be decorated by YOU A gift box, ribbon, and paper shred so you can professionally package your cookies (our cookies freeze so you can pop the box in your freezer until you are ready to gift it!)
