Spark Fiber Arts Lead Melin demonstrates her different techniques for creating decorative bowls from rope using a sewing machine. Demonstration of how to create a rope bowl, setting up the sewing machine which needle to use, and how to start. This can be a simple trinket bowl a coaster or mug rug, a placemat. With a lot of variations. This demonstration is free open to the public at Spark Makerspace 7 Union St. New London, CT. Sunday, January 23rd from 2-3 pm. Spark Makerspace is a nonprofit membership-based organization in downtown New London, Connecticut. Our mission: Supporting makers with the space, equipment, education, and community to create a spark in their creativity.
