We are a wedding & event florist based in Chicago, where majority of our events occur. We are looking for a “strike” team to go back to the venues at the end of the events (typically anywhere around 11pm-12:30am) to collect our items and bring them back to our studio. The ideal candidate would: -Be reliable -Have a mini-van or cargo van -Take good, thoughtful care of our inventory -Mindfully pack-up glassware, quickly and efficiently -Feel comfortable on a ladder -Be able to lift 50lbs All details of when and where you would need to be for the event’s breakdown, would be shared with you the week of the event (i.e., if the wedding is Saturday, I will send all details by Wednesday or Thursday that week). At the end of each event, I would send you photos//videos of the venue of where our items are placed, where you can find our boxes (to pack everything back up) + an ‘inventory sheet’ with photos of what is what, and how many we brought/need to come back, etc. Breakdowns are usually pretty quick, and can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Payment is a flat rate (negotiable) and paid in cash upon return of our items that evening at our studio.
