Sweet Peas Urban Gardens is excited to invite the community to volunteer with us! If you enjoy being outside, working in the soil, and learning about growing food in an urban setting, we’d be happy to have you join us. Volunteer from 9:30 - 12:00 Potluck from 12:00 - 1:00 - please bring something to share Email [email protected] for any questions. Sweet Peas is a newly founded community garden located in historic downtown Garner, North Carolina at 107 St. Mary's Street. The garden uses organic practices to grow vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers in addition to providing a home to seven chickens. The front yard contains a pollinator habitat and native flower and fruit garden. SPUG welcomes volunteers to learn about intensive urban agriculture and share in the fruits of our labor.
