Reflections & Honor : Candle Making at NCMA Join Usu Company candles for a DIY Candle Making & Museum experience in celebration of Black History Month at the North Carolina Museum of Art! Usu Company candles is a locally-owned small business that specializes in custom candle scents with a story. During your candle making workshops, Owner Stacy Ahua will lead you through each step of the candle making process and help bring meaning to your experience by reflecting on the ways we celebrate and honor Black History.You'll enjoy refreshments while making your one-of-a-kind candles, and at the end of the workshop, you'll have after-hours access to some of the Museum's galleries for a private mini-tour! Accessibility Visitors with wheelchairs or limited mobility may be dropped off in the circular Plaza near the entry gates or park in an accessible parking space. Wheelchair seating and wheelchair-accessible restrooms are available.
