The County Line Orchard in Hobart, Indiana again serves as the site for Humane Society of Northwest Indiana's annual "PET ROCK" fundraiser! The SATURDAY, MARCH 26th event will feature live entertainment, silent and live auctions, a cash food area, a cash bar, 50/50 raffle, basket raffle, grab bags, and more. Doors open at 5:00pm with entertainment beginning at 6:00pm. $40 Advance, $45 at the door. A limited amount of 6 Special VIP reserved tables of 8 are available. Entertainment for "PET ROCK 2022 is MR. FUNNYMAN with a special guest to be announced. A Chicagoland favorite, MR. FUNNYMAN, performs music of all genres, including covers of hits by Michael Jackson, Elvis, Pink Floyd, ABBA, Beatles, Prince, Big & Rich, Lorde, Bruno Mars, and many others. Comfortable dancing shoes are recommended. There will be a silent and live auction. Items to be bid on range from a wide variety of gift baskets, services and goods, concert and event tickets, many signed celebrity items, and more. Among the celebrities whose signed items will be auctioned: Paul Rodgers (Free/Bad Company), Foghat, Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull), Buckcherry, Jim Peterik, Blackmore's Night, members of The Doors, John 5, Uncle Kracker, Dave Davies (The Kinks), the late Charlie Daniels, the late Joe Diffie, Afroman, Blues Traveler, Crystal Bowersox, Enuff Z'Nuff, and many more. All proceeds benefit Humane Society of Northwest Indiana, an independent entity not funded by the government, the national Humane Society organization, nor other sources. It relies on adoption fees and the donations and support of the people and businesses of Northwest Indiana. There will be plenty of food options available for purchase by Jonna's Catering, with a menu that includes Italian Beef sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, pizza by the slice, nachos and more.
