Our yearlong 25th Anniversary celebration includes a special day of activities for the entire Southwest Florida community. Join us Saturday, February 12, 9 am – 3 pm for FGCU Day, a campus-wide open house commemorating 25 years of Florida Gulf Coast University and our impact across the region. What to Expect FGCU DAY will highlight seven unique neighborhoods – explore campus with a full day of activities for all ages, free and open to the community. • Learn about innovation and discovery including water research and solutions, enjoy art exhibits and live performances, get a private golf lesson from the pros and tour our first-class facilities. • Hear entrepreneurs pitch their businesses, check out the nursing simulation lab and create your own tie-dye T-shirt. • There will be plenty of interactive activities for the whole family including a meet and greet with PBS Kids' Nature Cat and Arthur. The day of fun and festivities will coincide with our annual Eagle Expo and Homecoming, with future Eagles and returning alumni here to join in FGCU Day activities.
