Chairwoman, Maureen Westbrook of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, announced that the Chamber's Affordable Housing Committee will host a virtual workshop titled, "Affordable Housing in a Pandemic World" on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. on Zoom.
In the wake of the pandemic's hot housing market, join our Affordable Housing Committee to learn about the current market conditions for 2022.
Presenters will discuss topics such as: State of affordable housing market; Available initiatives/available funding from DOH; Emergency rental assistance for Connecticut's economy landlord and tenant relations/evictions; National issues on Connecticut's supply chain, material cost, and labor; Statistics on pre and post pandemic housing development; American Rescue Plan Funds (ARPA); Regional plan of conversation and development update; and Regional housing plans.
