Mercer County At 'High' Activity Level For COVID-19

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A week after being at "very high" risk for COVID-19 transmission, Mercer County's risk level dipped slightly, according to the New Jersey Department of Health. The County is at "high risk" for COVID-19, according to the latest COVID-19 activity level report, which is issued weekly. This means that between 10 and 25 people out of every 100,000 have COVID-19. At the "very high" risk level, more than 25 out of every 100,000 people were estimated to have the virus. This is a 28 percent decrease from the previous week when the County recorded 1,217 positive cases and three related deaths — two lab-confirmed and one hospital reported. Mercer County is one of 10 counties at "high risk," while the state's other 11 counties remain at "very high" risk. The County has also expanded its COVID-19 testing clinics.
