Press release from Kendall County Sheriff's Office: 01/15/2022 4:00 AM 01/14/21 2022-0140, Criminal Damage to Property: On 1/14/2022 deputies responded to the 30 block of Rocky Way in Oswego township for a report of a Criminal Damage to Property of a juvenile damaging a vehicle. 2022-0140, Criminal Damage to Property: 2022-0137, Harassment by electronic device: The Kendall County Sheriff's Office responded to the 0-100 block of Huntsman Lane for a report of Harassment by Electronic Communication where a victim reported receiving multiple harassing messages from multiple subjects.  This report is currently under investigation.  2022-0144, DUI: On 01/14/22 at 7:16 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Route 71 near Hilltop Road in Bristol Township for Improper Lane Usage. Brian K. Wielgus, a 48-year-old male from the 2900 block of Old Glory Dr in Yorkville, was arrested for driving under the influence. Wielgus was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing. 2022-0147, No Valid Driver's License: On 01/15/22 at 1:17 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on S West St near Rock St in Little Rock Township for failing to yield at a stop sign. Jose Hernandez- Gonzalez, an 18-year-old male from the 900 block of Hughes St in Plano, was cited for failing to yield at a stop sign and driving without a Driver's License. Hernandez-Gonzalez was issued a recognizance bond and released. 2022-0148, Operation of a Vehicle with Suspended Registration: On 01/15/22 at 3:04 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Route 47 near Saravanos Drive in Bristol Township for suspended registration. Fermin Chavez Ortega, a 47-year-old male from the 4000 block of Dobbins Street in Plano, was cited for operating a vehicle with suspended registration. Ortega was issued a recognizance bond and released.    The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
