CHICAGO, IL — A newborn baby was found dead in a duffel bag Saturday near a Chicago Fire Department firehouse on the Near North Side, according to multiple reports. The baby boy was found around 5 a.m. in the 1000 block of North Orleans, the Chicago Tribune reported. The baby was found in a duffel bag covered in snow as firefighters were shoveling, police told the Tribune. No further information was available. Area Three detectives are investigating, reports said.
