Hello Santa Barbara! We are looking for an enthusiastic and team-oriented individual to join the Mattress Mike Team! Serving Santa Barbara and surrounding communities for 25 years, Mattress Mike Furniture Gallery provides high quality furniture and mattresses at discounted prices and thrives at providing outstanding customer service. Delivery Drivers are responsible for representing Mattress Mike in providing white glove delivery service for our clientele. This position requires an abundance of physical strength, a personable demeanor, and positive attitude. This position reports to the General Manager and will work closely with other delivery and sales associates regularly. This position does not require any previous experience, since we will provide On The Job Training. Job Responsibilities: • Safely moving, lifting, and assembling large, bulky furniture items in weight of 60 pounds or larger (usually no heavier than 100 pounds) • Tool Utilization: familiarity with small hand and power tools used in assembling furniture • Driving: maneuvering small to medium-sized two-axel vehicles • Communication: Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients Requirements: • Valid California Driver's License • Maintain a clean driving record • Positive and personable attitude • Meets Mattress Mike uniform and personal hygiene standards • Reliable, punctual, and a team player • Strong communication and customer service skills The compensation will start at $16/ hour for the first two months (which is an evaluation period). Following that, compensation will be decided based off of evaluation.
