Common Pleco - Need to Re-Home!

Description

I have a common plecostomus named Demo. He is a little over a year old, and has grown to about 6" long (He has grown 4" in the last year). When I purchased him, I was fully aware that these beautiful prehistoric suckerfish can grow up to 24" in length (2 feet), and so I thought (wrongly) that a 75 gallon tank would be large enough for him. Unfortunately, plecos also produce a lot of waste, and so keeping the fish healthy and the water clean has become a challenge, even with a cannister filter. This fish needs a new home, preferably in a 200-300 gallon heated POND where he will have room to grow large and eat all the algae he can! I want to ensure he will have a good space where he can stretch his scales and live his full 15-20-year lifespan. Contact me if you have a pond or large aquarium (over 100 gallons) and would like a pleco to keep your algae in check. He does a great job.
