I’m open to genre but like mostly rock music like ac/dc, sabbath, maiden and priest. I also like sludge and doom. But I also like folk,pop, 70s stuff like Floyd and fleeteood Mac type stuff. I use pro, clean equipment that is tuned properly with new strings always. I’m not conventional either. I stick with modern trends. So I don’t use a bass amp, I use what’s referred to as FRFR modeling. I have a JBL eon6 PA with a POD HD PRO X. I also sometimes run a laptop with various plugins if I want. Sounds better then most “real” amps. My bass is a modded Greg benit / samick 4 string. I’m looking at a musicman for the future. I can go from deep subbass to high distortion and everything between. I also sometimes run one speaker with subbass and the other with a distortion. Depends on what I’m Playing. I place myself somewhere around gezzer butler I guess. Ballsy but can be pleasant too. I don’t have time for maybes. Serious people that want to jam please. I mean, you can amuse yourself if you want. I don’t care. Originals only.
