Looking for someone to carry out a number of tasks including cashier, driver, and event setup. You will drive one of our salsa dance instructors and some sound equipment from Turners Falls to our weekly Salsa Dance Party in Maynard and back every Thursday evening. You will be leaving Turners Falls at 5pm and be back by 12:30am. Once you get to Maynard, you will help with a light setup (some chairs and cocktail tables), and from 7-11pm you will be at the door charging people for admission and checking IDs. After the party is over, you will help with the breakup, which takes about 15 minutes, and then drive back to Turners Falls. You will be paid for 7.5 hours for a total of $135 (that’s $18/hr) doing a very simple job, just driving, checking IDs, taking money, and giving people change. If you prove to be reliable, responsible, honest, and trustworthy for 3 months, you'll get a raise to $20/hr. By the way, you don't have to worry about gas or wear-and-tear on your vehicle because you will be driving one of my vehicles. There will be free pizza and soft drinks for you. In the future, if you'd like to take part in the dance lessons and/or the dance party for free, I can hire someone else for one or two hours for you to take a break and enjoy yourself. This is a great gig for someone who wants to do something different and fun, and still make money. This gig starts February 3rd. REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/ETHICS: At least 21 years old Valid driver's license Responsible Reliable Committed Honest Simple math skills Excellent driving skills (obviously) No smoking, drugs, or alcohol on the job.
