Looking to jam in Lakewood

Intermediate guitarist/bassist looking to jam and play music with similar people in Lakewood or nearby. Me: 40's, low drama, have a family and steady job, social drinker, vaxxed and boosted. Too often I find myself jamming to YouTube backing tracks or my looper pedals when I should be playing with other people. I have a dedicated music room that fits 3-4 players easily with multiple guitar and bass amps and basic keyboard. Wanting to play with other people who make it a priority once a week or so and actually work on songs in addition to just jamming. Blues, rock, 90's songs, 4-chord progressions, whatever is fun... I'm open to gigs, but not kidding myself that we'll be touring any time soon. I have most evenings and most weekends free. Willing to travel to your place. Looking for: Guitarist or bassist. Willing to switch back and forth is a plus. Keyboardist? Sure! Singer? Especially as we get a list of actual songs together, yes please! (I'm a better backup singer than a lead vocalist personally.) Drummer? Well, it would probably be too tight for a full acoustic kit at my place. But if you have a space, that would be amazing. Otherwise, I use a drum machine going into a PA speaker typically. You: Similar, low drama. Vaxxed, please. At least know a medium amount of theory. So if we call out a standard 12 bar blues in G, you'll know what to do. Or if someone comes up with a chord progression, you'll know or be able figure out what key we're in. You know what the relative minor of C major is any why you should care. You don't need to be a virtuoso musician. I'm not. But hopefully you know your pentatonic scales and more than just open chords. And if someone wants to play a song, you're willing to learn it and be ready for the next week. Low pressure, but on the other hand, if we all agree on a time and place, then unless there's an emergency, you're there. Ideally, we'd have a standing evening or weekend time dedicated to playing. Maybe weekend during the winter and then weekday evening when the weather gets nicer? I'm flexible. For now though, lets just meet up and see if everything clicks. Please reach out if interested. Paul
