Description
We are heartbroken that we need to seek a new home for our 9 year old boxer mix. Rocky (female) has been a great dog, rescued from the Houston Humane Shelter as a pup, but has not behaved well with our young childrens’ friends now that they are starting to have play dates. We have tried numerous solutions, but due to a background of separation anxiety and crate anxiety, we feel she will be safer in a new home.
Prefer family where someone is home most of the day, no kids, wide open spaces is a plus! She is an amazing athlete despite a little bit of arthritis, loves a good chew toy, frisbees, and napping near her humans. Her favorite place is our family ranch in Mingus, where she runs, swims, and “herds” the cows. If you could foster or give her a sweet home for her last several years, please let me know! We’d love to help pay for food for several months, and have crate, etc to provide. Rehoming fee of $50 and would like to meet potential new family first.
55 lbs, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, good with basic commands, great on a leash, good with other dogs.
Thank you!
