Asheville Adventure Company is seeking energetic and charismatic guides for our Whitewater Rafting and Kayaking, and Electric Bike Tours for the upcoming season! Guiding with us is a fun and fast paced job that lets you use your personality, leadership skills, and knowledge all while leading guests safely through an ultimate outdoors experience. Job Type: Part-time or Full-time options available, Seasonal (the season runs from mid March - November) Scheduling: Weekend and holiday availability necessary. Holidays within our seasonal operation period include Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. Flexible scheduling available with advance notice. Pay: Starting at $15 per hour depending on experience, plus tips Required Experience: Paddle job: Class I, II, and III Whitewater paddling experience is required. Preferred Experience: Paddle job: Class I, II, III, and IV Whitewater guiding experience not necessary, but preferred. Bike job: Prior biking and/or tour guiding experience preferred. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of bike maintenance is a plus. *Any additional outdoor adventure guiding experience is preferred for both job opportunities.
