Free The People Fellowship is a paid opportunity for a formerly incarcerated person or immediate family member of a currently incarcerated person. The pay is $5,000.00 (paid in two 3-month $2,500 in February and May). Our vision is to be free because we know first hand how hard it is to have a record or to be fighting to bring your loved one home. We work for redemption and restoration, and to build ourselves and our communities up and fight all of the things that are holding us back! We are excited to announce our 6-month Free The People Fellowship. This 6-month fellowship is focused on the leadership development, participatory defense, and policy reform for people directly impacted by incarceration in Tennessee. We will be selecting a total of 15 fellows from each region of the state.
