Lost young male kitty orange

We haven't seen our young male kitty Gar for over 24 hours. This is very strange for him. He usually sticks close to the house and rarely leaves our property. We are worried sick. My youngest dog is distressed cause that is her best friend. Near intersection of 8th and Garfield. Franklin neighborhood. He's pretty cautious of people and dogs he doesn't know. He has a bright blue collar with only a bell. Contact info is embroidered onto the collar. He's fairly small bit chubby. Has a little crook in the tip of his tail. He is very loved and we are worried about him. We just want him home. Photo attached is old. I don't take a lot of photos.
