Description

Is Dua Lipa ruining your life? Pop, r&b, pop rap making you sick of living?? Agonizing slow, boring Indie and Alternative muzak prompting you to question current musician's abilities, tastes and sanity? Ok. Do something about it, besides screaming and crying. I play guitar, pro level and write, pro level. We'll do originals and play out. And it'll be great. I have good players wanting to get started but we need all the singer to make things happen. Cis Gender F no TransW please. Trans doesn't fit the concept. Thanks for understanding. Specifics: 18 -- 30 years old, with enough time to really work at getting a band launched. Performance background, with pitch stability; having ongoing vocal training would be optimal as I've encountered amateurs and dabblers who obviously love music and singing but they are all over the place and can't hit notes on target. Bring your own tastes and cool vocals wails screams growls purrs snarls sneers hollers cries and whatever else you can dig out of yourself. Carry a solid tune--sing lead--you're leading, that's what lead singing is, and be able to do vocals that cut through the band and be in command, with good energy, charisma, no fear of performing live. ~influences~ nirvana early zeppelin dirty rotten imbeciles joan jett the sensibles the sonics robert fripp the monkees the pain teens the b 52s blondie the clash the ronettes jim carroll link wray janis joplin the easybeats gang of four television the soft boys iggy pop the buzzcocks the homosexuals milk (uk underground power trio 90's) the beach boys wendy o. williams ~and lots more~ Millie Small pic, screen grab from Youtube, 'I'm Blue' on Shindig television show (my fave female quirky singer) is for attention.
