Overland Park area; our house is by Johnson County College. We are looking for someone who is good at "keeping house"; Handy Man / House Cleaning work. It will take some becoming familiar with our house and what needs to be done to organize, clean, and handy man odd jobs. Basically what we're looking for is working towards all being cleaned and organized in order for us to be functional around the house Starting out, it would be about 12 hours per week, and then after a month, then about 6 hours a week. I'm recovering after a surgery and planning to have another surgery in March, so there's some catch up work that needs to be done in our house. This is an ideal odd job work with flexible work hours for someone that wants to pick up odd jobs, get paid a little more than you would working part time jobs like at Home Depot, and we arrange times that work with yours and our schedule. The projects would be shoveling snow, organizing storage in the attic, organizing the utility room, adding shelves in the utility room, house cleaning... basic tasks regarding what all it takes for upkeep of a house. In the spring, planting shrubs. An example of various tasks is... sometime before spring, our lawn keeper will be trimming the tops of the trees. I'll rent a trailer and the person that takes this Handy Man job can load the cut off limbs onto the trailer and I'll drive with you to unload them at the landfill. You can take on projects according to the skills you have or would like to learn. I have most all of the tools and cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaner, wet dry vac to clean spots on carpet, and we'll provide the cleaning materials such as Ajax, floor polish, cleaning towels, buckets, shovels to clean snow off of the walk and driveway etc. This is an ideal job for a college student wanting to pick up jobs.
