Job Responsibilities: Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products, recording quality results: Job Duties: Approves incoming raw materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials. Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisors. Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming rework. Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarize rework and waste; inputting data into a quality database. Working together with supervision to troubleshoot issues in a timely manner to support production schedules. Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. Record all non-conformances that occurs during the shift and report to the Quality Manager Necessary Paperwork: Raw Material Content Report Latest Production Schedule Mixer Audits Packing Room Audits Metal Detector Form Finished Product Specification List Non-Conformance Report Necessary Supplies: Thermometer Pen Clipboard Metal Detector Wands Necessary Uniform/GMPs: Slip Resistant Boots White Labcoat Grey Hardhat Safety Glasses Hairnet/Beardnet Earplugs(Packing Room only) Gloves (Packing Room only) Forms to Fill out Throughout the Shift: Water Chiller Temperature Log Yeast Log Holding Freezer Temperature Check Spiral Temperature Log Non-Conformance Report Mixing Audit Packing Room Audit Daily Work Flow: Conduct as many audits as time allows. Audits are done consistently throughout the shift. Check the Yeast box once per shift. Check the Water Chiller once per shift. Check the Holding Freezers once per shift. Check Spiral Temperature after every set of 3 packing line audits. Perform 4 metal detection tests per line during the shift. All product samples (either for 1 st shift or 2 nd shift) must be boxed (retains - 1 st half) and panned out (bake test samples - 2 nd half) according to specification. (The only exception is when there is no production the following day and all panned out product can remain in the freezer, but retains will still be boxed) Record all non-conformances and immediate corrective actions.
