Anaina Hou is seeking a general security person We are seeking a new team member to support events on the campus of Anaina Hou Community Park. Anaina Hou is a multi faceted event space hosting a variety of different programs ranging from Concerts, Weddings, Community Gatherings, Public and Private Events. This part-time position will support a minimum of one weekly day time event and occasional evening programming over the weekends. Essential Duties: Be a public facing security presence during events Assist with guest check in / safety compliance and ID checks Provide a safe environment for guests Patrol area to prevent thefts from parked automobiles Maintain a calm atmosphere for a variety of different programs De-escalate Situations as needed Interface between police and Anaina Hou Staff as needed Submit incident reports to your direct supervisor Skills Required: Team player First Responder Training Licensed / Bonded 2+ Years Security Experience Reliable Transportation Fully Vaccinated Strong communication skills Ability to effectively work and interact with staff, vendors, volunteers and the general public Ability to resolve problems in a constructive manner Ability to work under pressure If this sounds like you, please respond to this ad with your resume and include references.
