How to Benefit from Soil Health
Hear from renowned soil heath expert Gabe Brown on how you can find success with soil health practices on your farm as well as the multitude of benefits soil health can provide you. Afterwards we will hear from UW-Extension Weed Specialist, Dr. Rodrigo Werle on how cover crops can help you with controlling weeds on your farm. The event will end with local farmers talking about their successes with cover crops and no-till. After the event a social will be held at the community center for all to attend.
Our group of farmers is focused on helping other farmers toward the goal of improving soil and water quality. Working together and sharing experiences will help others avoid some of the challenges and obstacles we have encountered. Our joint efforts will improve our soils, crops and water quality as the practices take hold across the landscape.
