Hi there. Weird times lately, right? Well, to summarize, I am seeking like-minded people to make art alongside with. I recently moved back to Brooklyn. I'm pretty introverted, but I'm realizing that, in order to keep up with a regular art practice, I need to be creating in a space with others. Call it an accountability partner, call it community, call it making friends? Whichever! I've been pretty isolated in regard to having a creative community. I am 30 yo, AFAB, queer, and honestly, I would love nothing more than to have a safe and vibrant space to just create in the presence of others. As much as I enjoy my solitude, to some extent, working remotely has been getting to me. I wanna hang out and make stuff! I think that having a hub or like-minded people is essential. Lately, in the midst of this pandemic, I have been experiencing resistance when it comes to putting pen to paper, literally and metaphorically. If you are vaxxed, I would be happy to host. Or, I would love to come to you. We can talk, or not talk. Whatever is copacetic. Hey, maybe we could even have a group and form a sort of alliance. That would be cool.
