Clubs that were once protected as our safe spaces are now being commercialized with questionable music and disrespectful people, all for profit. Because of this, the Gayborhood has gained a reputation as being a co-opted novelty for drunk straight people, especially after hours; and Philly's LGBTQ community has been vocal about needing more places to exist in peace: no drunk handsy bachelorettes or $20 cocktails. Do check your ego at the door. There will be absolutely NO homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, misogyny, body shaming, fat-phobia, profiling or social intolerance of any kind at this party or you will be removed and NOT allowed back.
