Tree Pruning Workshop Early tree pruning is essential to growing healthy, robust trees that live for years. Join Baltimore Tree Trust this MLK Day for a Day of Service as we work to prune and tend to some of our recently planted trees! Volunteers of all tree levels are welcome to attend. Learn proper pruning techniques, winter tree care, and earn volunteer hours towards any TreeKeeper certifcation hours needed. Volunteers should come prepared for working outdoors and in cold weather. Long layers, warm closed-toe shoes, hats, and gloves are strongly encouraged. General maintence tools will be provided curtosey of Baltimore ToolBank, however feel free to bring your own tools if you have them. Baltimore Tree Trust (BTT) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to restoring city's urban forest through increased tree plantings, environmental advocacy, and community engagement.
