Michael Moore for a walking tour of the Civil War fortifications at Wynne's Mill in Newport News Park. Learn about the actions of Peninsula Campaign of 1862 that took place in this scenic and natural setting. The approximately two hour tour will begin at the Discovery Center in Newport News Park and last approximately two hours. Please wear appropriate footwear for muddy and uneven terrain. Winter is a great time to observe the natural and manmade trail features. In case of inclement weather the tour will be rescheduled. Lee Hall Mansion is a historic house museum operated by the City of Newport News Parks, Recreation and Tourism.
