West Coast painting company looking for painters to spend their summer up north... (Due to a massive shortage in the labor force In Oregon/Washington/California) I will be in the Gainesville area for the next two weeks conducting interviews. I'm looking for four people. Below is listed the experience required for each position, but all positions require you to be a hard worker, drug-free and willing to work 48 hours per week. The schedule is 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday with an one hour lunch break. Schedule can vary depending on location of job. Helper: 1000.00 per week. Experience required: extremely physically fit as you will be on ladders all day long taping off Windows and carrying heavy paint buckets and be moving very fast to help out the more experienced painters and tapers. Taper/pressure washer: 1000.00 per week. Experience required: experience taping off windows with perfect lines, covering plants, doors, floors etc. Pressure washing houses preparing them to be painted. (2) journeyman level painters: 1500.00 per week. Experience required: expert in cutting in, spraying houses, back rolling is for amateurs looking for somebody that can spray a house with two coats with no drips. Expert in taping and tape removal. Expert in using a roller when necessary. This is a contract 1099 position. No taxes will be taken from your check that is your responsibility to handle. Contract dates are from May 15th 2022- September 15th 2022. You're welcome to bring your own vehicle or fly into Portland Oregon airport either way you will be reimbursed $300 for your travel cost after 2 weeks of working You must arrive in Portland Oregon by May 14th. This is a small Christian Painting company. We will not be going to parties or nightclubs if that is what you're looking for this is not the job for you. Free room and board also provided, You will share a hotel room with one other person. And be given a $15 a day per diem for food. *I am not interested in fancy resumes, I'm only interested in hearing what experience you have that has to do with painting or hard labor (if you're applying for the helper position) *Please describe yourself and please explain why you would fit one of these positions. *If you respond to this post asking questions instead of stating why you should get the job you will be blocked and ignored. *We predominantly only do exterior jobs and we do not work in extreme heat or cold it is a pretty easy job as far as painting jobs go.
