First Fridays is NE Indiana’s own leadership development/networking forum. Our goal is to bring outstanding content from local speakers. Chynna Presley is a social worker and public speaker with 14 years’ experience working with families and youth dealing with an array of issues. Chynna has a bachelor of social work degree from Huntington University and a Master's in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to work as a foster care case manager, a community educator, a program director, curriculum developer, a stay-at-home mom, and a nonprofit manager. Today, she serves as the Director of Intercultural Enrichment at Huntington University where she supports and advocates for students, staff and faculty of color by directing a scholarship program for minority youth, creating trainings, leading discussions and influencing policies to help create a more culturally intelligent institution. Among other things, one of her favorite things about her job is the opportunity to teach an honors leadership class as an adjunct professor. She loves being able to serve students as “the representation she never had.” In 2021, Chynna also made a dream a reality and started her consulting business called Mezzo Management Solutions. Through this business, Chynna offers leadership development coaching and training, specifically for middle-management social workers. When she’s not working, Chynna’s favorite things to do are keeping houseplants alive and laughing with her daughter. First Fridays Fort Wayne started in November of 2017 and has grown over the past 3 years to reaching over 1000 leaders in NE Indiana each month.  Our goal is to help people get better.  When individuals get better, their company gets better, and ultimately our community gets better.  We do this in three ways: 1. Educate to know 2. Encourage to grow 3. Empower to sow Thank you for your investment in our events. Our First Fridays Leadership Team is composed of Jim Johnson, Jere Johnson, Jan Diaz, Amylynn Graf, Jarrod Wilson, Kassee Lamm, Bryan Stine, and Denise Mills. Scott Drummond, and Doug Bowman assist us in the strategic marketing (audio/visual/photo).
