Description

Learn strategies for encouraging current and newly hired staff to work as a team and how to help others within the team stay onboard. Hibernating in silos for too long can have a negative, lasting effect on seeing the need to be an active member of the team. Research mentions that most people would argue that their creativity is more defined working alone rather than in a group. Jobs that require team effort struggle with getting everyone to contribute their expertise and insight collaboratively. Some team members are willing while others may be reluctant to wholly participate increasing the likelihood of not meeting team goals. This is an ongoing organizational issue in many companies that face negative recourse of losing their best workers. This session will provide strategies for encouraging current and newly hired staff to work as a team and how to help others within the team stay onboard. Register today! Lunch is included. The mission of Tarrant County College Office of Corporate Solutions & Economic Development is to provide both customized solutions and relevant job training to ensure the surrounding community has an educated and skilled workforce.
