Buffalo Grove Police Orientation and Written Exam Attendance at the orientation meeting is MANDATORY for all applicants. The orientation meeting will be held immediately prior to the written exam on Saturday, March 19, 2022. There will be two sessions for the orientation and exam; one at 8:00 AM (written exam at 9:00 AM) and 10:00 AM (written exam at 11:00 AM), applicants will be notified of their designated time after application. These tickets are non-refundable. In addition to purchasing a ticket, be sure to complete the application for Entry Level Police officer here if you have not already done so. Applicants are required to bring the printed ticket/receipt, a photo ID and a valid NIPSTA, Joliet Junior College or Triton College POWER Test Certification Card issued after March 19, 2021 to the mandatory orientation/written exam. *All newly hired employees of the Village of Buffalo Grove, regardless of employment status (full-time, part-time, or seasonal/temporary, student interns), must receive the first dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine prior to the start of their employment.* BUFFALO GROVE IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
