Learn all about the life-saving overdose reversal drug Naloxone and the NaloxBoxes used to increase community access and save lives! The Partnership for a Drug-Free Carroll County Coalition and its partner agencies have identified increasing access to Naloxone in our county as one our first initiatives of 2022! This information session kick off with a meal sponsored by Valley Oaks Health. We have invited vital community resources to provide information on recovery support services. We will be training all in attendance on the proper use and storage of Naloxone. If you wish to take this life-saving tool with you we will be sure that it is available free of charge after the training. Overdose Life Inc. works dilligently with the Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addictions to provide Indiana communities with Naloxone. Finally we will be introducing the NaloxBox, a kind of community AED box that can mounted on the outside of a building making Naloxone available to the public in case of an emergency.
