WELCOME TO Bright Star/ St. James in-person Worship Services! I rejoiced with those who said to me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord.” Psalm 122:1Greetings In the excellent Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Happy New Year to you and your family and I pray for the advancement and success of your endeavors as we go though yet another year of #MillionDollarWeeks! As we continue to navigate the rise of COVID-19 cases and new development of it’s variants, we are making some modifications to our safety protocols to protect the health and well-being of ALL members. 3 John 1:2 says: ‘Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers’ We want you to continue to remain in good health and prosper all year #MillionDollarWeeks! Our Pastor has committed to put the health, wellness and safety on his top priority rather than jeopardize the welfare of our members and pack them into seats while our country is experiencing a flux of COVID-19 cases at rapid rates. Therefore, we have amended our COVID-19 Safety Protocols and Procedures. In addition to our COVID-19 mitigation measures from 2020-2021, Bright Star Church Chicago and St. James Ministries Chicago will now be requiring proof of vaccination for All members and visitors ages 5 and up attending any function at any of our properties. In an effort to accommodate all members of Bright Star and St. James, PLEASE ONLY CHOOSE ONE DAY PER MONTH. You will be asked to register for attendance and be prepared to show the proper documentation required. Please note, once you have attended a service and have presented a valid vaccination card, you will no longer need to provide it. We will keep a note in our records to indicated that you have been vaccinated. Anyone who is not vaccinated will be asked to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 24 hours before attending a service or event at BSCC or STJM. Failure to present these documents will result in denial of entry into the building. However, unfortunately, those who are not vaccinated MUST CONTINUE TO SHOW A NEGATIVE TEST RESULT within 24 hours of attending our service for entry, no exceptions. In addition to that, we are mandating that each member and visitor to properly always wear your mask in the building regardless of vaccination. Mask must be worn above the nose and not below your nose, with the exception for those who are scheduled to participate on the order of service of any other program or event, at all times. We have staff in place who are commissioned to instruct individuals to adhere to our protocols and procedures. We thank each and every one of you for your cooperation and understanding during this time. It is our hope and belief that we will soon be together again without the immediate risk or worry of COVID-19 and it’s variants.
