Film screening for 'I Wish You Knew' short film PSA and a panel discussion that dives deeper into racial trauma. ‘I Wish You Knew’ was selected to be a part of the East Carolina University’s College of Health and Human Performance Resilient Pirate Nation Initiative, film festival. ‘I Wish You Knew’, a short film PSA that calls for more trauma informed schools, is about what happens when students cannot speak up for themselves. 5:30 pm- Doors Open | ERASISM Photovoice Exhibit 6:00 pm – Screening begins A ‘Deeper Look Into Racial Trauma’, panel discussion, facilitated by Dr. Kristin Black, will follow immediately. Panelist include: Deborah Sheppard- ‘I Wish You Knew’ film creator Chris Charles- Cinematographer for ‘I Wish You Knew’ film Dr. Erin Roberts- Clinical Instr/MFT Clinic Dir Jermaine McNair- Founder of NC CIVIL and College Instructor Garrett Taylor- Author and CEO MASKS ARE REQUIRED!
