Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will work with the lab services and facilities teams to provide optimal facility management in support of the technical teams’ needs. We will provide you with on-the-job training in areas specific to our equipment.
What You Will Do
- General assembly, installation and mounting of furniture and equipment
- Receive and open packages
- Coordinate with lab users and external service providers on cleaning, preventative maintenance, and inspection of various equipment
- Perform manual tasks around the lab such as organizing lab benches, stockroom, inventory and general facility maintenance
- Perform Hands hands-on facilities maintenance tasks as directed such as installing wall-mounts and moving gas cylinders

- Familiarity with hardware and power tools

- Strong desire and curiosity to learn new things
- Bonus: experience with plumbing, electrical, or home improvement projects and ability to troubleshoot basic issuesÂ
