Trauma Informed Self-Defense™ seminar digs deep into self advocacy, boundary setting, physical preparedness through situational awareness and red flag / grooming behaviors, personal safety and violence mitigation for a comprehensive foundation in creating your best life. New to Orlando / Central Florida area? Come meet a like minded tribe and enjoy engaging Galentine's themed ice-breakers! Or meet up with your girl gang and as an empowering, creative pre-brunch activity. 💞 What to expect? Our format has something for everyone, physical, lecture and interactive creative elements PLUS Galentine's treats for everyone. 🥰 Shaan Saar is proud to offer a safe, brave and inclusive environment for all and is a designated Orange County Sheriff's Office Safe Place. You'll want to wear comfortable clothing you can move freely in, yoga or gymwear is just fine; and comfortable shoes. Students will also be participating in creative, trauma informed modalities for stress management. What to bring? Personal identification (drivers license), bottled water and a change of clothes if you're going out afterwards. For the physical portion of class you will be learning in-person high intensity self defense concepts and will be working with a partner. our facility has a mask policy and we observe Covid-19 precautions for hygiene and disinfection. What ages are welcome? All participants must be at least 16 years of age. Under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal adult/guardian.
